Navigating the Depths: Exploring Sedna’s Voice and Meaning
About this workshop
As the first planet to break the norm by being named outside the Greco-Roman tradition, Sedna’s name and myth wanted to be known to the world, giving her rightful voice to visionaries, activist, artist and shamans. Sedna is the Inuit goddess, the protector of the oceans and Marine life, but also known as a guide beyond the sea into a spiritual path towards greater wisdom, respect, and harmony with ourselves and our environment. As Sedna draws nearer to Earth for the first time since the Ice Age, she is inviting us to explore the spiritual depths of our individual selves while connecting with the collective myth of Sedna. Her recent ingress into the sign of Gemini is guiding us into a journey to recreate rather than continue with outdated structures and is challenging us to reevaluate the relationship with our Daimon, technology, and to honor the environment that sustains us.
